Roseanna L. Dennis

NEW CANTON, Ill. -- Roseanna L. Dennis, 53, of New Baden, formerly of New Canton, passed away Friday (May 8, 2015) in the emergency room of St. Elizabeth's Hospital, Belleville, as the result of an automobile accident that also claimed the life of her significant other, Tony Biondo.

She was born Aug. 28, 1961, in Chillicothe, Mo., to Jerry D. and Shirley N. (Gann) Dennis. They preceded her in death.

She was very fond of animals and enjoyed fishing and music, especially Toby Keith. She lived to spend time with her family.

She is survived by one son, J. W. Dennis and his wife, Jeana, of New London, Mo.; one grandson, Bentley Dennis; and one granddaughter, Addison Dennis, both of New London. Also surviving are one brother, Jerry Dennis and his wife, Ellen, of Hannibal, Mo.; one sister, DeVonna Nation and her husband, Mark, of Pittsfield; two nieces, Jessica Dennis of Chicago and Ali Nation of Pittsfield; one nephew, D. J. Dennis of Denver; and a former sister-in-law, Sylvia Dennis of Quincy.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by an infant brother and her significant other, Tony Biondo.

SERVICES: 10 a.m. Thursday, May 14, at the Kirgan Funeral Home, Barry. Burial will be in Shearer Cemetery, New Canton.

VISITATION: 4-7 p.m. Wednesday, May 13, at the funeral home.
