Russell Alvin Reed, 84, passed away on August 16, 2025 in Hurricane, UT. He was born on March 5, 1941 in Quincy, Illinois to Leo and Mildred Reed. Russell graduated from Quincy High School in 1958. He proudly served in the United States Army. After serving his country, Russell was a gifted salesman for most of his career. He was the owner and operator of Old Nauvoo Jam in Hurricane, Utah.
Russ was a life long fan of the Fighting Irish of Notre Dame and closely followed college football and Major League Baseball until the end of his life. Russ was an avid Skier and loved to travel with his lovely wife, Bree.
He was proceeded in death by his parents Leo and Mildred Reed, his first wife, Suzanne Rottman Reed and his brother, Jim Reed.
He is survived by his wife, Brenda Reed (Bree) his three children, Tom Reed (Zhon Marie), Mike Reed (Regina), and Sally Whitehead (Kevin), two sisters, Mary Jane Logan, and Janet Lawrie, and sister in law, Cindy Reed and 12 grandchildren. Russell will be laid to rest in Calvary Cemetery in Quincy on September 19, 2025 at 11:00 AM.
