Frank "Frankie" Ray Usery, age 71, passed away on Sunday, March 31, 2024, at Unity Health-White County Medical Center surrounded by family and friends. He was born on July 5, 1952, to Elmo and Imogene Usery. He worked at the Usery Bros. Sawmill until retirement. He was an avid hunter and fisherman. He loved to be outdoors working in the yard.
He is preceded in death by his parents, brother-in-law, Buel, and grandson, Jayden Blakley. He is survived by his wife, Velma Usery; his children, Dennis Usery (Amy), Stacy Usery and Christina Softley (Carl); stepchildren, Dean Chatman, Don Chatman and Anita Corwin (Robert); his brothers, Bill Usery (Barbara), Jim Usery (Phyllis) and Mike Usery (Carla); his sisters, Mary June Galloway and Marsha Davis (Guy); and many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held Wednesday, April 3, 2024, from 6-8 p.m. Services will be held Thursday, April 4, 2024, at 2 p.m. with interment following at Garner Cemetery.
