Glen Matthew Adams, 68, of Searcy, Ark., died on Thursday, Oct. 9, 2025, at his home with his loving family.
Glen retired from Harding University after a career as a psychologist and psychology professor, and he remained dedicated to improving the lives of children and their families. He was a beloved member of his church, finding particular joy in hosting a Wednesday night small-group Bible study for college students. He enjoyed playing golf with his friends, including their yearly golf trips. Glen loved his wife, children and grandchildren, and he devoted his energy to making it possible for the family to be together as often as possible.
Glen is survived by his wife, Carol; his children, Kathryn Adams, Thomas Adams and Ross Adams; and his grandchildren. He is also survived by his brother and sister, as well as his sisters- and brothers-in-law and his much-loved nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, Oct. 11, from 2-3:30 p.m., with funeral services immediately following, beginning at 3:30 p.m., at the Downtown Church of Christ in Searcy.
In lieu of flowers, memorials or donations may be made to the Child Safety Center of White County or Sparrow's Promise of Searcy.
Arrangements are entrusted to Powell Funeral Home of Searcy.
