Bill Kemberling passed away at the age of 72, on Oct. 14, 2025, from complications from cancer.
He was born to Clifford Clarence Kemberling and Ruby Fredrick Kemberling on Oct. 5, 1953, and was raised in Branson, Mo. He moved to Little Rock, in 1973, where he later met his wife, Denise. They married in October 1980. Bill was the love of her life, and their union spanned 45 years. They enjoyed country living and, along with Bill's brother, Donald Wayne Kemberling, they made their home in Romance, for 30 years until his death.
Bill was an animal lover, particularly dogs and horses, and he enjoyed going to local auctions. He was a simple man who was always a champion for the less fortunate and those who could not fend for themselves, and he had very little tolerance for those who took advantage of others. Bill often said "just do the right thing" and he lived his life doing the right thing to the best of his ability in every situation. He was the real deal who brought out the best in other people. He easily made friends and he treasured those friendships.
Bill was a strong Christian who loved his Lord Jesus Christ, in whom he abides forever.
Bill is survived by his wife, Denise; his brother, Don; and several other friends and family members. He was loved by many, and on this earth he will be missed beyond measure. We will see him again in eternity.
A graveside service will be held Friday, Oct. 17 at 2 p.m. at Romance Cemetery on Arkansas Highway 31 in Romance, Ark., across from the post office and next to the Romance Church of Christ.
