JOEY HOOPER Obituary

Joey "Bubba" Edward Hooper, 61, of Cleveland, passed away on Tuesday, Dec. 24, 2024.
Mr. Hooper was born on Dec. 11, 1963, in Hampton, Virginia to Fred Hooper and Francine Robinson. He is preceded in death by his father, Fred Hooper and brother, Aubrey Hooper. Mr. Hooper retired from Mars Inc. (Wrigley's), where he worked for 30 years. He was a member of Town Creek Baptist Church.
Bubba loved his Georgia Bulldogs. Over the years, he was responsible for mentoring several young men and served as a second father to many. Bubba never met a stranger and was loved by those who knew him.
Joey is survived by his wife, Vicki Hooper; son, Adam Hooper; daughter and son-in-law, Hannah and Justin Miller; mother, Francine Hooper; sisters and brothers-in-law, Bonnie and Gary Miller and Freda and Doyal Thornton Jr.; grandchildren, Fischer and Mayleigh Miller; nephews, Nick and Chris Miller; and niece, Taylor Nappi.
Funeral services were held Saturday, Dec. 28, 2024, at Town Creek Baptist Church. Interment followed in the church cemetery. The Rev. Philip Robinson and Rev. Casey Robinson officiated.
