Allan Scane Obituary

In Loving Memory of ALLAN ROY SCANE March 22, 1939 - Nov. 2, 2007 Our beloved husband, father and grandfather went to be with our lord suddenly on Nov. 2, 2007. Roy leaves behind his wife of 31 years, Gayle and his children, Matt (Marjorie) Scane, Casey Scane Rh odes, Kim (Jeff) Essig and Richard (Tessa) Goodheart He also leaves 11 grandchildren, Zachary and Rebecca Scane, Lauren Daniels, Sidney and Matthew Rhodes, Samantha, Sadie, Jonah and Vadim Essig; Alexandria and Jaxon Goodheart. His brother, Fred (Nancy) Scane and many friends and extended family. Roy grew up in Whittier and graduated from California High School in 1957. While at California High School, Roy excelled in sports particularly basketball. Roy was an expert cabinet maker and was able to watch his business grow over the last 48 years. He continued to work up until his passing. The most important thing to Roy was his family. He enjoyed camping, motorcycle riding, boating and keeping very active. He will be missed by all who loved him and whose lives he has touched. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, November 10th at 11:00am at Revival Christian Fellowship, 29220 Scott Rd., Menifee, Ca. In lieu of flowers please make a donation to one of Roy's favorite charities, Samaritan's Purse, Amigos De Los Nio's, or the Best Friends animal sanctuary.
