Billy Puig Obituary

Billy Johnny Puig

Born December 9, 1954 unexpectedly passed away on September 25, 2016 at the young age of 61. Bill was a beloved son, brother, uncle, godfather, father, grandfather, and friend. He leaves behind his mother Irene, sister Mary, brothers Mike, Tom, and Brett. He was a wonderful and caring father to his sons Billy Jr. and Justin (and Justin's wife Laura). Bill also was instrumental in raising his nephew Erick. He cherished his five grandchildren Tristan, Jacob, Noah, Candice, and Justin. He was a dedicated worker and great at what he did. Work was his life along with his family that he loved dearly. He loved his friends, coworkers, and the people around him. His life began in East Los Angeles, but most of his life was spent in the city of Whittier where he lived for more than 50 years. He was and will continue to be an inspiration to everyone he came in contact with. The Sun has set for Billy Johnny Puig and our heavenly Father has called him home to take his rightful place beside his father Mike, brother Dave, and daughter Candice. Our hearts are filled with grief and sadness...but we have our memories to cherish and he will be greatly missed. We love you Papa!
