Gary Gasca Obituary

GA SCA-Gary Gasca, 40 died Sunday, July 25, 2004. Gary was born February 24, 1964 in Los Angeles, California to Jose and Ann Gasca. He was a resident of Whittier. Gary attended Los Nietos Jr. High School. After high school, Gary drove school bus for Pupil Transportation for about 10 yrs. Gary went to live life to the fullest, when he moved to Laughlin, Nev. as a reservation clerk for the Flamingo Hilton, not long after, Gary went on to work at the Prim in Jean, Nev. At the present, Gary was atte nding Rio Hondo College where his major was Hotel Management. Gary had hoped to transfer to UNLV in the Fall of 2005. Gary was so proud of going to Rio Hondo College and taking each day one day at a time and getting closer to fulfill his dreams. His laughter, charm and wisdom will be greatly missed by all of us. Gary is survived by his parents, Jose and Ann Gasca; sisters, Jo Ann and Gina Gasca, Judy Gonzales; brothers, Gene and Jerry Gasca; nieces, Ann Chavez, Renee Luna, Andrea Gonzalez, Ashley Gasca, Isa bel, Desiree and Breanna Gasca; nephews, Daniel Gasca, Michael Gonzalez, Gilbert Gasca Chanes and Gene Gasca, along with 9 great nephews and 3 great nieces. Services will be held at Our Lady of Perpetual Help in Los Nietos: Rosary, Tuesday, August 3 at 7 pm. Funeral Mass at 9 am Wednesday. Burial will be at Queen of Heaven Cemetary in Rowland Heights.

Gary was very enjoyable to work with at Target many years ago. I was sorry to hear of his passing, his wonderful spirit for friends and family will be missed.
