I was saddened to hear of the passing of Mike Ricker. What a great wealth of knowledge he was and truely an icon in the automotive world, especially in the old days that most of us old timers rememeber and cherish. I worked for AMC in the 60's and the name Mike Ricker & Ricker Motors were known through out the industry. My sincerest condolences to his wife Anne and the Ricker family.

Dear Ricker Family,

Please accept my deepest and most sincere sympathy. I didn’t know Mike personally, but his granddaughter Robin has shared her loss and love of her grandfather with his friends and the members of the international Studebaker Drivers Club. I was struck by his friend’s and Robin’s wonderful remembrances of Mike and Anne’s life. As I said to Robin, their lives remind me that, thank God, there are truly selfless humans at work amongst us.

Although no words can take away the pain of Mike’s passing, our hearts and prayers are with you Anne, and the entire Ricker family. At my age, occasions like this prompt me to consider my own mortality. But no matter what age, our brief lives on earth must constantly reflect the preparation to return to the God who gave them. God bless and keep each of you.

My condolences to you and all your family. My dad, Warren Keene, first worked for you back in 1953 when we first moved to California. Will always remember your kindness to my mother, Viola, after Dad passed away.
