Will was one of a kind. He was definitely one of my favorite people. I am so honored to have had the opportunity to know Will. We had many great conversations and I enjoyed his wonderful sense of humor. He will be sadly missed by everyone who knew him at Hillcrest.

MY DEAR FRIEND VICKIE,
WE HAVE BEEN THRU SO MUCH TOGETHER OVER THE YEARS. NOW, IS ONE OF THE DARKEST DAYS OF YOUR LIFE. SAYING "GOODBYE" TO YOUR BELOVED WILL.
I AM THE LOSER HERE BECAUSE I DID NOT GET TO SHARE THE GOOD TIMES WITH YOU BOTH.
THAT MONDAY I SPEND WITH YOU AND WILL AT THE HOSPITAL HAS GIVEN ME A BEAUTIFUL MEMORY OF TRUE LOVE AND DEVOTION.
I REMEMBER WILL REACHING HIS HAND OUT TO YOU AND HOLDING IT SOOO TENDERLY. ANYONE COULD CLEARLY SEE THE LOVE YOU BOTH HAD.
IN HIS EYES, I COULD SEE SUCH A GENTLE AND CARING MAN. AND IN THAT LITTLE TWINKLE IS SAW IN THOSE EYES, I COULD SEE THE LITTLE BOY STILL LEFT IN THERE.
I REMEMBER COVERING HIS LEGS WITH THE SHEET AND TELLING HIM HE HAD PRETTY LEGS, HE SAID, "YOU GOT THAT RIGHT,BABY". WE LAUGHED AND LAUGHED.
THEN WHEN I TOLD HIM WHEN HE GOT OUT OF THE HOSPITAL WE WERE GOING TO GO SQUARE DANCING.HE ASKED,"WHAT ABOUT YOUR HUSBAND?" I SAID, HE WON'T HAVE TO KNOW. HE REPLIED, "WELL,HE AIN'T STUPID!!!!!"
AS YOU WERE OUT OF THE ROOM I TOLD HIM NOT TO WORRY ABOUT YOU, THAT LARRY AND I WOULD STAND WITH YOU AND HELP YOU IN EVERY WAY WE COULD. HE SMILED. HE KNEW WHAT I WAS SAYING AND THAT SMILE SAID, "THANK-YOU". I SAID, YOU WATCH OUT FOR HER FROM HEAVEN AND WE'LL WATCH OUT FOR HER HERE ON EARTH. HIS LITTLE FACE SWEEMED TO GLOW.
I TOLD HIM HE HAD A WONDERFUL WIFE AND HE SAID," YEAH, VICKIE IS A GOOD 'OLE GIRL."
AS THE MARRIAGE VOWS SAY, "UNTIL DO US PART", I AM SO GLAD I GOT TO SPEND THOSE LAST DAYS WITH YOU BOTH.
VICKIE, LAY YOUR HEAD ON YOUR PILLOW AT NIGHT AND KNOW THAT YOU WERE THE JOY OF HIS LIFE AND THAT LOVE LIVES BEYOND THE GRAVE. YOU WERE DEVOTED TO HIM. I AM SOOO GLAD THAT WILL GRANT ENTERED YOUR LIFE AND HEART AND BROUGHT YOU LOVE AND HAPPINESS. THOSE WILL ALWAYS BE PRECIOUS MEMORIES IN YOUR HEART.
REST IN PEACE, WILL. YOU WATCH OVER HER FROM HEAVEN AND WE'LL DO OUR PART HERE ON EARTH!!!!!
P.S. YOU STILL OWE ME A SQUARE DANCE!!!!

Mommy, Nana, and the rest of the family - I am very sad grumpsy had to go, as well as many of you are. But we must keep in mind, that this is not the end, and we will see him again. Nana- Don't be to sad, he's probably sitting in a chair watching football with a dog on his lap! Grumpsy will NEVER be forgotten. He was a great man, and an inspiration to me. -Pini
