I worked with Bill at W.H. Nichols from the early 70's . Played ball together and always new him to be a great guy. When I learned he was at the Lahey I prayed for him daily and would call for status . I was told of his passing by another former co-worker the evening of the 23rd. God bless you Billy Quag.

We in Canada are all saddened by the loss of a special part of our family. Bill was my brother-in-law, as well as a loving uncle and wonderful friend. When I think of him I picture his smile I hear his voice with his (to us) Bostonian accent, and I remember his spontaneity. I think of foghorns we heard through the night at the Cape, beautiful sunsets we shared in Bouctouche, NB, and the uplifting concert we saw together at the old church in PEI., family birthday celebrations, lobster feeds and lots of fun. Bill and Edgar were more like brothers than in-laws. I also picture Bill and the pride he had as he showed us his beautiful tomatoes, some of which always managed to find their way back to Canada in our car. One of the treasures of our lives now lives with God. The memories we all have will remind us over and over how blessed we are to have had him as our family. Diane, we want you and your family to know that we are always here for you. We can't be physically present now, but our hearts encircle you with love.

No words can express how saddened I am to hear of Bill's passing. I will miss seeing him at town meeting, on the common and knowing he is on this earth with us. He was a compassionate and caring man. The world was better with him in it. My deepest sympathy to his family and friends. He will be missed.

God has taken our great friend, spared him suffering , like a brother to us, we keep shared loving fond memories of the gang ( Quagliozzi, Clancy, Joyce, Scanlon families) with Bill and Diane and the kids at the Cape, New Hampshire, Maine, Florida, Texas, many local places in Mass.
As high school friends ,we Dick, Jack, Ken and Bill shared touch Football, wiffleball, softball, pond hockey, street hockey ,card games, ping pong ,sharing the car rides singing. We met and married local girls Diane, Paula, Mary Ann, Patty Anne. Many events shared, kids all played together at various homes. We shared life, happiness, sadness and most of all love and and deep devotion to being friends.
As i weep writing this, i can't write enough about the good things, the pride Bill had for his devoted wife Diane and the family Dave Chris Susan and the extended family. He loved his grand kids, brother and sisters, he mentioned when they met for a meal. We will miss him deeply, continue to love his family.
He is free to watch over us, now with his parents and siblings now.

That Memory Becomes A Treasure.
Diane - There is not much I can say, Bill was a great guy with a great sense of humor and a wonderful wife. I enjoyed working with Bill as a Town Meeting Member and I will miss him and our conversations, especially about Town Politics...

So sorry for the loss of a great man. I had the pleasure of working with Bill. He was always a gentlemen who would brighten up any day. He always spoke about his family and the love he had for them. I remember the many trips he went on and enjoyed the times with his lovely wife. He was and will be an inspiration to everyone who new him. Rest in peace Bill and God has a new angel . My prayers and thoughts are with the whole family.

Diane and Family,
Our thoughts and prayers are with you at this time. As we all know Bill was a devoted husband and father who loved his family deeply. May you find peace knowing how much his family meant to him, and remember all the good times you shared together. Bill was blessed having a wonderful family and great friends in his life. Although he is not here with us he lives on through all of us who knew and loved him. May you find peace knowing how much you all meant to him.
With Sincere Sympathy
Love
