Uncle Dale and Aunt Sara,

My deepest sympathies at the passing of Laura. Growing up, I remember how she seemed to rule the hockey and life with an understated gentleness, determination and pure talent. She was one of my inspirations that helped me later on in life. She is loved and will be missed.

Hi,
My good friend Jane Viera Ritter just told me of Laurie's passing. I'm reminded of the great times we had with her during all those high school games and just hanging out. My brother Tom, also remembers ice skating with her on Bell Emorys pond in Westboro. I just know she's explaining to God why women are better ice hockey players than men. Lot's of love and my prayers to all your family. Nancy Schubert Riffe(high school friend).

Dale and Sara, So stunned to just hear this news now. Our hearts and prayers go out to you and your family. Haven't seen you for so long and saddened contact should be this. We just don't know while we're living our lives what the future holds and this is a loss none of us should ever have to suffer but far too many of us do. God bless you all as you grieve and recover. Fondly, Barb Smith/John Keefe & family
