Gregoria IIagan Obituary

Gregoria "Goring" Alcantara Ilagan, born on January 6, 1924 in Santa Rita, Batangas, Philippines to Baldomero Alcantara and Juana Castillo and married to the late Vicente Ilagan. She passed away on August 27, 2021 in Braintree, Massachusetts following a long battle with cancer. Prior to retirement, Gregoria lived in Los Angeles, California where she found a new calling caring and supervising young adults with intellectual disabilities to help them live to their fullest potential. Gregoria is survived by her children Ronald Ilagan and wife Ofelia, Arlene Sangalang and husband Mario, Norman Ilagan and wife Evelyn, Cesar Ilagan and wife Edna, brothers Drs. Lucilo Alcantara and wife Elsa, Angel Alcantara, sister Consuelo Caguimbal, grandchildren Michael Sangalang and wife Anna and their two children Maia and Daniel, Mark Sangalang and wife Danielle, Ronald Ilagan, Jr., Kelly Ilagan, Roxanne Ilagan, Dr. Charmaine Ilagan, Charlene Ilagan, Abigail Ilagan-Moreno and husband Carlos and Hannah Ilagan. Memorial service is planned at a future date.
