I just learned of Mike's passing today (Charlie Baker on WCVB News). I am very sorry for your loss, and I especially want to send my condolences to Mike Sr. and Jared. It is times like these that we are ever reminded how short and precious life really is. Michael i knew you, your mom and dad for only a short time when you played for my Florida Eels Program in Ellenton Florida and attended our hockey academy. You were always a happy fun loving young man who had enormous passion. Your folks a truly loving family. You have so many friends in the Florida community whose hearts are stricken and eyes are crying now for you and your family. You have left us too soon. I bow my head in prayer for you will forever be missed. My deepest sympathy goes to your family.

We were always laughing and joking around when we were together, for the most part you were always smiling and happy, out of all of us you were the most insightful and also one of the most intelligent people I grew up with. Whenever I was in a bad mood like after a break up, Billy would always bring you over to try and cheer me up. I can't even remember half the memories we shared together. But I know I loved you like a brother and will always love you....I will see you again someday.
