Our deepest sympathy to the Lundin family in their loss. We have many wonderful memories through the years from when we first arrive in the US in the 1950's attending all the dances he played, especially the week we met at SAC Park.

Majdis (Anderson) Flynn has spoke fondly of Nils always. She is in a nursing home and is pretty confused. However, she reads the obituaries daily and had Nils' all cut out when I got there today. I promised I would send a note to say we are so sorry. I, myself, remember Nils playing the accordion (although Majdis calls it a glockenspiel!). Bless you all! Love, Majdis and her daughter, Evelyn

My sincere sympathies to the Lundin family at this time. I was fortunate enough to have known Nils through the Nordic Lodge Dinner Dances in Worcester. His reputation preceded him and he was an icon to those who flocked to hear him play. He was also a true gentleman to those who knew him.
I'm glad that Nils was able to provide me with some info and photos for our book "Swedes of Greater Worcester," which was published in 2002.
He will be truly missed. May his accomplishments and legacy be a true comfort to you all in the days ahead. He was simply a wonderful man--a good man.
