Phyllis Morris

Phyllis (MacIsaac) Morris, of Braintree, passed away Friday, Feb. 21, at Brigham and Womens Hospital in Boston. She was 84 years old and the beloved wife of the late Emilus Morris. Born in Boston on Oct. 15, 1929, she was the loving daughter of the late Alexander and Catherine (Pennie) MacIsaac. Mrs. Morris was a graduate of Roslindale High School and the former Boston State College. She worked as an Admitting Officer at Massachusetts General Hospital for 20 years and later at South Shore Hospital for 7 years. She served as the past President of the League of Women Voters in Braintree. Mrs. Morris was the loving mother of Barbara Oakes and her husband Donald, Joyce MacLean and her husband William, Linda Bither and her husband Bruce and Andrew Erle Morris. She was the cherished grandmother of Denny, Jacqueline, Lorrie, George, the late Jocelyn and 6 great-grandchildren. She was the dear sister of Joseph MacIsaac, Donald MacIsaac, the late Richard MacIsaac and the dear friend of the late Jim Cassani. Funeral from the Bolea-Buonfiglio Funeral Home, 116 Franklin Street on Thursday, Feb. 27, at 11 a.m. Followed by a Graveside service at the Massachusetts National Cemetery in Bourne at 1 p.m. Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend.
