Robert E. Wynot

Robert E. Bob Wynot, age 58, a lifelong Braintree resident, died unexpectedly on Sunday, November 25, 2018, at South Shore Hospital, surrounded by his loving family and friends. Bob was born in Quincy and raised in Braintree. He graduated from Braintree High School as a member of the Class of 1978. He was employed with Clean Harbors for 30 years, and, as the companys lead mechanic, he assisted in many nationwide environmental cleanup efforts. As a young man, Bob worked at his familys business | the former Wynots Service Station in Braintree. Growing up, he enjoyed Braintree Youth Hockey. He loved skiing and sailing on his boat, the Janet Lee. Bob had a passion for cars and was the proud owner of a 1963 baby blue Corvette. Most of all, Bob was dedicated to his family and friends. Beloved husband of Robin A. (Bates) Wynot, to whom he was married for 33 years. Devoted father of Jaimie Wynot Cooper and her husband Scott, of Marshfield, Daina S. Wynot and Caisie R. Wynot, both of Braintree. Cherished son of Pauline (Nisula) Wynot of Quincy and the late Edward R. Ned Wynot of Quincy. Dear brother of Deborah Bjorkman and her husband Carl of Braintree, Nancy Golden and her husband Kevin of Walpole and John Wynot of Medford. Bob is survived by several nieces and nephews. He is also survived by his best friend, Peter Rogerson, his wife, Janet, and their three daughters, of Weymouth. Memorial services will be conducted at the First Congregational Church of Braintree, 12 Elm Street, Braintree on Monday, December 3rd at 10 oclock. Pastor Michael Frady will officiate. Relatives and friends are invited to attend. At the request of the family, visiting hours were omitted and interment will be private.
