Stephen H. Markarian of Braintree and Falmouth, died May 5, 2012. Beloved husband of Elise (Tashjian) Markarian. Devoted father of Michele Markarian and her husband Jason Taylor of Cambridge, Stephen Markarian and his wife Diane of Hanover, and Lucille Mutty and her husband Lawrence of Falmouth. Dear brother of Altoon Markarian of S. Boston, Lillian Nakashian and her husband Frank of Belmont, Josephine Carey and her husband Paul of Braintree and the late Margaret Connelly. Loving grandfather of Harrison J. Markarian and Miles M. Taylor and step-grandfather to Deasy and Alexandra Mutty. Also survived by several loving nieces and nephews. Veteran U. S. Army. President and Founder of Lite-World Inc. of S. Boston. Member of Gate of the Temple Masonic Lodge, A.F.& A.M. of Stoughton and the Neighborhood Club of Quincy. Services were held at St. Stephens Armenian Church, 38 Elton Ave., Watertown, Wednesday, May 9 at 11 a.m. Visiting hours were held at the Giragosian Funeral Home, 576 Mt. Auburn St., (Rte. 16), Watertown, Tuesday 4-8 p.m. Interment Lakeside Cemetery, Braintree.
