Hazel McArthur Obituary
November 16, 1936 - December 16, 2013
passed away peacefully surrounded by her family. She is predeceased by her parents, Louis and Vitalene Crowe, (nee Standing Buffalo). Brothers, Joseph Crowe, Ronald (Ronnie) Crowe, Charles Crowe and Stanley Crowe. Sisters, Lena Whitequill and Margaret Crowe. Husband, Donald McArthur and sons, Darren K. McArthur and Darryl J. Wasacase and Great Grandchild, baby Julius. Hazel leaves to mourn sons; Linus Wasacase, Brian (Crystal), Dale (Amber), Adopted Son Rusty (Mavis) Hotomani, Daughters; Vera (Al) Delorme, Susan (Ron), Corrine (Ernest), Elaine (Rick), Gaylene (Jonas) and Irene (John), 34 Grandchildren and 26 Great Grandchildren, numerous Adopted children along with many nieces and nephews. The family wishes to thank the Newhope Pioneer Lodge in Stoughton, Sk for the wonderful care received in the last years of Hazel's life. and the Regina Pasqua Hospital for the excellent care during her final moments. A traditional wake will be held on the White Bear First Nation on Thursday, December 19 at 5:00pm at the community hall with funeral services and interment to follow on December 20th. Funeral arrangements care of Orsted Funeral Home.

Deepest condolencs to those left behind. It is with sorrow that my friend left in the festive season. The Creator called her home and she will suffer no more. My friend Hazel was a great mother and kokum to many. She saw that all her children were successful in life and was comforable to move on and reunite with her loving husband and the family that left before her. Children be there for each other and love and support each other like there is no tomorrow.

Elaine and family; please accept my sincere sympathy on the loss of your loving mother. Elaine, thank you for sharing all your mom's stories with me. I feel as if I knew her, through you. "The saddest thing that mankind knows will always be goodbye" I will be thinking of you and your family as you celebrate your moms life and say your goodbyes.
