Martin lived around the corner from me. Second to his dog, Lucky, Martin's passion was good food, and he liked to share that. He'd often ring the doorbell to drop off some special trophy from the supermarket, or call to suggest lunch or dinner at a new restaurant he'd discovered.
I'd looked forward to continuing this easy relationship, and am saddened by its untimely end.
Lucky stayed with my wife and me during Martin's hospitalization and we've gladly adopted him. He is a gentle and kind spirit, like Martin.

Martin was a great neighbor! He was generous and kind through and through. I will miss him and Lucky. I know there are many others who will miss him too.
