Preston Noel Obituary

Preston S. Prett Noel Jr., 69, of Carver, died May 9, 2011. Son of the late Preston and Virginia (Grindell) Noel, he was a lifelong resident of Brockton until moving to Carver 8 years ago. Preston served many years as a K9 officer for the Brockton Police until his retirement. He also ran Pretts Auto Sales at 703 North Main St. in Brockton and enjoyed restoring and detailing old cars. His love for automobiles led his passion for collecting diecast and Nascar memorabilia. He enjoyed family camping trips, wintering in Clearwater, Florida and was always on the lookout for that I just cant pass it up deal. He will be sadly missed by family and friends including his beloved wife Elaine of 48 years, daughters Lisa Riley and her husband Joseph of Maine and Kim Novak-Luongo and her husband Paul Luongo of Avon, grandchildren Risto Smith, Joseph Jr., Megan, Autumn, Holly and Preston Riley, Brittany Novak, Paul Luongo and great-granddaughter Destiny Riley and his late grandson Steven Smith. Following cremation, memorial calling hours were Thursday, May 19 from 3 - 6 p.m. and prayer service at 6 p.m. in Waitt Funeral Home, 850 North Main St., Brockton. Hi Dad....I cant even imagine another day without you! This is so hard and getting harder everyday. I miss you so much! I am always thinking of our good times (and there were many!) Especially DisneyWorld! Those were my favorites! I remember being there and all our memories as they will be with me forever...it was the getting ready, and getting there that was crazy,lol...and getting back. But we had the times of our lifes while there!! You were alot of fun with no stress around Dad! I miss that! I miss you! I love you and you will always be a huge part of me! Til we meet again! Just thinking about you dad....it's been almost a year now and things haven't gotten any easier....I still miss Stevie like crazy too. My Dad..4eva..My Hero...you just don't know how sadly you will be missed. There's a huge hole in our family now Dad w/out you here w/us. I will always cherish the memories of you Dad..ones noone but you, Mom, Lee& I will ever know. You had a loving, sensitive side not many people were lucky enough to know. Pup, I don't even know were to began this is so hard, I still cannot believe that your gone because it still feels like your around me, you taught me so much everything I know is because of you and you know that I'll work my hardest and make sure things at the house are in order and I'll take care of grandma, I wish I could tell you in person but I let that opportunity pass me by , you once had told me that I'm like the son you never had I will remember that forever I love and miss you!
