YUEN, Alvin Late of Sunnybank and formerly of Rochedale. Passed away peacefully 11.07.2012, aged 52 years. Cherished and beloved Husband of Barbara. Devoted and much loved Father of Tiffany. Dearly loved Son of Gum Hoy (dec'd) and Lai Ming (dec'd) and loved Son-in-law of Eric and Judy. Fun loving Brother and Uncle to the Yuen Family and generous and open-hearted Friend to many. Family and Friends are warmly invited to attend a Funeral Service to celebrate Alvin's life, to be held at the Hillsong Church, 16 Rover Street, Mt Gravatt, on Saturday, 21.07.2012, open at 8.30 a.m., commencing at 9.30 a.m., followed by Interment at Mt Gravatt Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the charity "The Alvin Yuen Counselling & Support Centre" at the service.

It is so difficult to let the sad truth sink in that Alvin has gone. With heavy hearts, our memories of Alvin are that of a cheerful, positive thinking and tough but modest man who always had so many things to do, with even more in his plan of things to do. His achievements inspire others to push to do more...

My sincere condolences upon hearing this sad news. I remember Alvin back when he was a fun-loving, friendly pharmacy student colleague of my brother & again the times we'd bump into each at Market Square. He was obviously always busy but always had an upbeat encouraging comment to make and that same youthful smile I remember from University. A good man to know.
