I worked with Brian at Waterhouse Securities doing IT work located at 100 Wall Street from 1997 to 1999. I went to his memorial service at the church in Bayside, Queens and could not believe he's gone. Cantor Fitzgerald had one of the best IT guys and that was Brian Joseph Cachia. It took me 20 years to finally sign Brian's guest book. Miss you buddy!

Brian was so cool and smart and everything I wanted to be as an IT employee and a human. I envied how easy he made it all look and how he was looked upon as the wizard - the guy who could solve any IT problem. And he WAS the wizard - he WAS that guy. For a true genius like he was, TD was not the right company for him, but gosh, I wish it was, because we wouldn't have gone to Cantor Fitz. I can't believe it's been 18 years.....

I remember Brian as one of the nicest, most helpful co-workers at TD Waterhouse. Whenever I had a Technology problem, I knew Brian would come in smiling and save the day. I was sad when Brian left TD Waterhouse, but my heart was broken on 9/11/01. The Cachia family is in my thoughts and prayers.

I'm so sorry we lost touch. I wish I knew earlier, that you were in the WTC. I have never forget Video Wizard, Joe CASH, your dad's enormous Laser Disc collection, playin Big Wheel in front of my house, the mongoose in your dad's basement, playin Axis and Allies till 2 in the morning, fishing upstate, chopping wood at your grandpa's house. Words can't express the sadness that I feel or the immense guilt of not knowing sooner, I'm so sorry we never got a chance to catch up. I have never forgotten you and never will forget all the great and happy moments we shared growing up together. I wish I knew....God bless you brother.

I attended St. Robert's grammar school with Brian for 8 years. He was a very good hearted and approachable kind of guy. He never passed judgment. He would befriend anyone. I remember liking him being a tall guy like myself. This way I did not stick out like a sore thumb. God Bless you Brian.

I was one of those lucky enough to work with Brian at TD Waterhouse. Even though we never met in person, he was always helpful, sweet and willing to lend a hand. I'll never forget the good times and laughs we shared while working at issues over the phone. My heart and prayers go out to the entire Cachia family.

America Cries
We see your sorrow-
and our hearts cry....
We can not erase your pain
but you do not have to face the anguish alone-for we-
-the American people-
are beside you.
We so desperately want to have the touch that brings you comfort,
the strength that gives you courage,
and the words to lighten your spirits.
And when we are left speechless
may the silence of our nation weave love into your hearts
to ease your sorrow.
May you find healing through our nation's strength as we-
-the American people-
face this difficult time together. Our hearts are with you. Teresa Jahn

Our thoughts are always with Brian and his family. A wonderful kid, he always made me smile and was such a pleasure to be with. Always a hard worker who grew from a wonderful young man to a mature adult who always cared about others. We treasure the small time we had with him and will always keep Brian in our hearts.
