Claire W. Brown

Claire W. Brown, 92, long-time resident of Wenham, and most recently of Brooksby Village, died peacefully on July 1, 2014. Beloved mother of Christine A. Brown of Cambridge; and loving aunt to Katherine Carleton of Merrimac and Elizabeth Nelson of Ipswich. She was predeceased by her sister, Jean Egbert. She was a graduate of Tufts Universitys Boston School of Occupational Therapy and for many years was the Director of Occupational Therapy at Danvers State Hospital. In her retirement, Claire was a dedicated volunteer at the Wenham Museum. Her life was full of travel, gardening and the many friends whose lives she touched. Services will be private.
