Donna M. Bremberg

1944 - 2016

Donna Marie Bremberg passed away peacefully on March 7, 2016 surrounded by her family, after a brave battle with a rare brain disorder, Progressive Supranuclear Palsy (PSP). The second child of parents Leo Morin and Helen (Madore) Morin, she was born in 1944 in Salem, Mass., and was a graduate of the St. Josephs School in Salem, Class of 1962. A Wenham-resident for over 40 years, Donna devoted herself to her family, children, and community. She went back to college later in life and received her Associates degree in Health and Human Services from North Shore Community College, graduating with highest honors. Donna began volunteering at HAWC while in school and was later employed there as the volunteer coordinator for nearly 10 years. She is survived by her husband, Robert, with whom she shared 37 years of marriage; daughters, Kristin Hentschel and her husband, Neil, Kari Goodwin and her husband, Daniel; sons, Kevin Bell and Sean Bell; and Dina Hernandez and her husband, Daniel. She was a loving grandmother to nine grandchildren, Larissa Hentschel, Elysia Hentschel, Stephen Hentschel, William Hentschel, Angela Bell, Andrea Bell, Camilla Goodwin, Christina Hernandez and Keren Hernandez. Also leaving two loving brothers, Phil and wife Kathy Morin and Roger and wife Diane Morin and several nieces and nephews. A memorial service was celebrated for Donna on Friday, March 11, at 10 a.m., at Christ the Redeemer Anglican Church, 188 Elliot Street (Route 62), Danvers.
