Gianefa T. Milaszewski

Gianefa T. (Galazka) Milaszewski, 89, of Ipswich died peacefully surrounded by her family Tuesday April 2, 2013 in the Blueberry Hill Healthcare in Beverly. She was born in Ipswich, the daughter of the late Magdalena and Peter Galazka. She was the sister of the late Stella Galazka Gorniewicz and the late Joseph Galazka and mother of the late Jane Milaszewski Mills. Mrs. Milaszewski helped bring up her sisters children: Judy, Peter, Johnny and Benjie and loved them as her own. She was raised and educated in Ipswich and was a parishioner of the Sacred Heart Polish Catholic Church in Ipswich. She taught catechism and helped out with the Polish picnics. Mrs. Milaszewski worked as a hairdresser. Later she was employed at Sylvania and for over 30 years she worked at F.W. Woolworths Company, both of Ipswich. Most importantly she loved and lived to spend time with her family. Mrs. Milaszewski enjoyed going to Boston by train visiting with friends, also she enjoyed cooking, bingo and crafts. She baked the best banana cake and loved Ipswich friend clams and cheesecake. Oh, her African Violets bloomed like silver dollars. She was a very special person, who will always have a special place in our hearts. Survivng Mrs. Milaszewski is her daughter Teresa Milaszewski, 2 granddaughters Julie Jackson and Craig Pearson of So. Carolina, Amy and her husband Michael Beaupre of Kentucky, one grandson P.J. Howard and Ligia Cooper of Georgia, 6 great-grandchildren: Jordan, Samantha, Ethan, Buddy, Amber and Layla-Jane. Her family also includes: Judy and Howie, Peter and Beverly, Johnny and Stefanie, Benjie and Cheryl, Margaret and Brendan, Tommy and Liz, Brittney and Tyler, Cassie, Colby, Calia, Mary-Kate and Patrick and countless more family and friends. A graveside service will be held on Saturday April 20, 2013 at 10:00 A.M. at the Highland Cemetery, 29 Town Farm Road in Ipswich. Family and friends are respectfully welcomed. There will be no visiting hours. In lieu of flowers exp- ressions of sympathy may be made in Gianefas memory to the charity of your choice. Arrangements are by the Morris Funeral Home of Ipswich.
