Jimmie Dale Hutto, 65, passed from this life on January 5, 2015 at Hospice Ministries in Ridgeland, MS. He was born on August 25,1949 in Bude, MS. He was the son of Ed B. Hutto and Janie C. Hutto. Mr. Hutto was employed by Southern farm Bureau Casualty Insurance Co. He was a member of Wynndale Bapyist Church in Terry, MS. Mr. Hutto was preceded in death by his parents, Ed B. and Janie C. Hutto. He is survived by his wife, Merrilee Hutto; daughter, Ashley Dykman and husband, Matt of Florence, MS; grandchildren, Sawyer and Sadie Jane Dykman; brother, Timmy Hutto (Helen) of Meadville, MS; nephew, Dusty Hutto (Bobbie) of Meadville, MS; great nephews, Jack and Tim Hutto; great nieces, Ana and Lily Hutto.
Jimmie recieved a master's degree in communications from The University of Southern Mississippi. Visitation will be at Franklin Funeral Home on January 8, 2015 from 9:00a.m. till 11:00a.m. with graveside services to follow at O'Zion Baptist Church. Rev. Jerry Smith will officiate. Pallbearers are Lynn Bullock, Gary Buckles, John Woods, Byron Carnette, Sherman Lee Dillion, Larry Cotten, Kenneth Boyd and Dusty Hutto. Memorials should be sent to O'Zion Baptist Church.

I'm just learning of the loss of Jimmie and extend my heartfelt condolences to Merilee and their family. Jimmie was multi talented and his gifts in presenting people to the world visually will live on. What a great videographer, producer, musician, and friend to all who knew him.

So sorry to hear of Jimmie Dale's death. My brother, Eddie, called me from Texas last night and told me. He has many fond memories of Jimmie Dale while they were in high school. And Merrilee, I worked with you in Family Medicine at UMC. Our thoughts and prayers will be with you and your family. May God's love bring ya'll the strength and peace you need. So sorry to hear this. My mom was his dads cousin and he grew up next to my grandmother. Loved going to Berrytown when I was growing up and playing in the woods with all my Hutto cousins. Your family is in my prayers.
