Eleanor F. Darman

Eleanor F. Darman, age 88, of Lincoln passed away on Friday, Sept. 24, 2010, at Emerson Hospital in Concord. She was the wife of the late Morton H. Darman. Born in Boston, she was raised in Brookline and graduated from Boston Latin School and Wellesley College. She soon married and settled in Wellesley Hills, with her devoted husband where they raised their four children together. She was employed for many years as a Social Worker supporting cancer patients at Massachusetts General Hospital, and upon her retirement, was a dedicated volunteer at Emerson Hospital for 20 years. Mrs. Darman also enjoyed the Red Sox and bridge games with her dear friends in Lincoln. She was the loving mother of Lynn Darman and the late Richard G. Darman, both of Washington, D.C., John M. Darman of Westhampton, and the late Robert N. Darman, proud grandmother of William, Jonathan and Emmet Darman, Emily Darman Tyler and Spencer Darman Allen and Caroline and Michael Darman, and great-grandmother of Jane and Emma Darman.
