I knew Norm at NU, but we did not stay in touch after my husband Si graduated from engineering school and we moved to NYC. He liked to hang around
with theater and radio students(I was one). for some reason I got to thinking about him tonight & went online. So sorry to find the obituary. We had some great times. I used to discuss my problems and he always gave sound advice. Soon after we met , I told my mom about this great guy I knew at school and it turned my mom knew your grandad well from when was a teacher at Capitol school.Seems he had taken the teacher's side in the Star over some dispute they had with the school system. She thought the world of Norm Sr. One of our good mutual friends was B.J.Holcomb. I was pleased to see that your dad had such along marriage and BIG family. Will always regret not keeping touch. With warmest wishes, Beverly Cummins Spangler [email protected]
