To the Marsden Family,
It has been my great pleasure to know and work with Tom over the last twenty five years. Having shared the same cubicle when in the office over that same time span.
Tom was always there to bounce questions or ideas off and always had some type of answer that would work out.
We don't often have the opportunity in life to have friends like Tom but when you do you cherish them.
He will be greatly missed.

To the Marsdens, Expedex. and his many friends. I've loved Tom for 22 years. I have so many wonderful memories of spending hours sitting on Higgins Beach, boating on Casco Bay, travelling to Negril, Jamaica and Captiva Island Florida with Tom, my mother, sister and nephew. My family loved him and he was GodFather to my nephew, Gregory. I'm so glad for all the time we spent just riding the couch, eating and watching the tube:)He was the funniest, best friend a person could have, and I know a lot of people feel the same way. I'm so sorry to all who knew him for our loss.

"Tommy" was an intricate member of our neighborhood gang. It was the best childhood in the world; skating on the pond at G.R., playing kickball, flashlight tag in the Gardella's back yard, kick the can at Seikel's, sledding on the back hill and at the golf course. We rode our bikes everywhere enjoying the sunshine, meadows, woods, sandpit and the"big rock." We shot beebee guns loaded with dirt, climbed trees and were hardy participants in apple fights! Tommy was a dear, kind, funny guy and a loyal companion. It is with sincere loving memories of the "good old days" that I send you my deepest sympathies and love. Jeanie Seikel Peterson

My heart goes out to all of Tom's family and his coworkers at XPEDX. Tom was one of the nicest guys I ever knew. I'm so happy that I had the pleasure of working with him for 8 years. I will never forget the time he brought me to my doctors because I came back from my lunch hour and thought I was in labor with my now 7 year old. It was him and Tim C that day. Love you Tom and thank you for that memory and all the other ones that I have of you:)

My deepest sympathy to Tom's family. Tom called on me as a sales rep for a number of years during the 1990's. Tom was a very generous, fun-loving person. I have not seen him for a few years, but it was only last week I was thinking about him and remembering a fun time we had when he took a couple of us to a Red Sox game. He worked hard to take care of his customers and you could tell he really cared about the people he served and the people he worked with. A very good man...

I would like to extend my sympathies to the Marsden family, I am sorry for your loss. Although I only knew Tom through our business relationship, he was an individual with whom I enjoyed genuine, light-hearted conversations and I had always looked forward to our meetings. It was clear he cared deeply for his customers, and one could sense, those with whom he came into contact. Anyone who spoke with Tom for more than several minutes knew he was a good man. We shared a lot of laughs and fishing stories through the years. He will be missed by those of us fortunate enough to have worked with him at Olympia Sports. Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.

I worked with Tom for 21 years and will miss him very much. He was a hard worker, intelligent, tough, kind and very humorous. He loved his mother and father and spoke of them often in our conversations. He had many friends and knew how to have fun. He did well in his life and I am glad to have known him.

May I extend my deepest sympathy to your family as you deal with this tragic loss. I have had the pleasure of working closely with Tom for 25 years. Over that time he has become not only a co-worker but a cherised friend as well. I have had the priviledge of spending many hours enjoying his company sharing his wondeful sense of humor on both fishing and company excursions. Tom has been a true friend and I pray for him as I struggle daily in dealing with the loss of my best friend. I will miss him always but he will live on in my heart as I will never, ever forget him and what he meant to me. The world has lost another great man. God Bless him and may he forever rest in peace!

My heart is deeply saddened by the loss of Tom...Tom and I worked very closely together through the years - he always held a special place in my heart and always will...he was a great salesman who always maintained his warmness to his customers and his inside sales team. The company has lost a very special man but most of all I have lost a very good friend. Rest In Peace, my friend, and remember I love you always. Until we meet again, enjoy the many fishing expeditions in Heaven.

I knew "Maynard", as we called him, from the beach (Higgins Beach). I was a neighbor at Mary Kelly's when I first got married in 1988. I was hired one winter to shovel snow at his cute little cottage home. I remember one particular boat outing that was quite fun, but I didn't know him well. He was a real nice guy to me. I'm sure the beach will miss him, as you will. So sorry for your loss. - Sue
