Elena F. Cammarano

Elena F. (Magliano) Cammarano, 86, of Onset, formerly of Brockton, died August 30, 2018 unexpectedly. She was the wife of Dominic A. Cammarano, Sr. and the daughter of the late Francis and Flora (Vacca) Magliano. She was born in Brockton and lived there for many years. She summered in Onset since 1946 until moving there permanently in 1988. She wintered in Brookville, FL for many years. She graduated from Brockton High School, class of 1949. Mrs. Cammarano worked for New England Telephone and St. Edwards School both in Brockton. She along with her husband started Allied Exterminating Co in Brockton 53 years ago. Survivors include her husband of 63 years, Dominic A. Cammarano, Sr. of Onset; 2 sons, Dominic Cammarano, Jr. and his wife, Gail and Robert Cammarano and his partner Lory Ellis all of Onset; her daughter, Joanne Mosher and her husband Timothy of Onset; 7 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren. Visiting hours from 4 to 8 p.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 5, 2018 in the Chapman, Cole & Gleason Funeral Home, 2599 Cranberry Hwy., Wareham. Her funeral held at 10 a.m. on Thursday, Sept. 6, 2018 from the funeral home, followed by a Mass of Christian burial at 11 a.m.in St. Patricks Church, 82 High St., Wareham.
