Anthony LaGreca Obituary

Anthony "Tonio" F. LaGreca, Jr., age 57, of Duxbury, died on Saturday, September 10, 2011, at the Brigham and Women's Hospital in Boston. Born in Plymouth, he grew up in Duxbury, graduated from Duxbury High School and was an avid sports player. Tonio enjoyed golf, swimming, skiing and was a devoted sports fan of the Boston Red Sox and the New England Patriots. He was also selected to "try out" for the Patriots. He was a graduate of the New England School of Photography. For many years, Tonio was a professional builder, building custom-made and specialty homes in the New England area. Tonio was the beloved son of Anthony F. LaGreca Sr. and Ellie (Olsen) LaGreca of Duxbury; loving father of the late Nicholas D. LaGreca and dear brother of Susan Morrison and her husband P. Tracy Morrison of Duxbury and the late Elizabeth Ann LaGreca and dear uncle of Paul Morrison and Kyle Morrison. He is also survived by many cousins and close friends. Tonio will be dearly missed by all. Calling hours were at the Shepherd Funeral Home, 216 Main Street (Route 106), Kingston, on Thursday, September 15, from 4 - 8 p.m. and his funeral service will be held at the funeral home on Friday, September 16 at 11 a.m. Interment will follow at the Mayflower Cemetery, Duxbury.
