We just wanted to let your family know how sorry and saddened we are at the loss of Jake. He was a friend of our daughter, Brynne. He was a unique and beautiful soul. He would at times stand in our driveway and catch the bus with Brynne. He always greeted us with a warm smile. Please take comfort that although his time on earth was brief, it was meaningful and he touched many hearts. With our deepest sympathies and our fondest memories, The Connolly Family

I am so deeply sorry for your loss. Jake was friends with my son and it is evident how much your son meant to the students at EB High. I had the privelage of meeting Jake once and he was a very polite, funny kid. I hope you can find peace that your son touched so many lives in his 15 years. Thinking of all of you during this tough time.

To the family of Jake Batchelder, I am so sorry for your loss. NO parent should ever have go through this. I have seen the impact your son has had on the students in East Bridgewater and the entire community. If you open his facebook page you can see clearly all the people that cared about him and each day more people continue to leave memories. You should be very proud of your son for touching so many lives and know he will always be watching over you and that he will always remain in your heart. You have my deepest condolences

We want to send our deepest sympathy and heartfelt condolences to all of you. One cannot possibly imagine the grief parents must feel when they lose a child.
We didn't know Jake personally, but we are friends of his grandparents from way back when, and we want them all to know how sad we are for them. May God give you all peace in these trying times.
