Saddened, to say the least, to hear of Linda's passing. Some of the people you meet in life make your own life a little bit better just for having known them and for me, Linda was one of those people. One night while I was babysitting Lauren, Jay and Craig, a Hummel figurine somehow ended up broken on the floor (living room hockey, I believe). I thought that would be it for me. But she just laughed it off (sort of). I offered to pay for it, but she wouldn't hear of it. She forgave me, but she also never let me forget it; the incident was always good for a laugh. That laugh will be missed. A kinder friend and neighbor would be hard to find. To John and the kids, my thoughts are with you.

We are sad that we are not with you but you all are in our
thoughts and prayers. Linda's fight and will to continue living could not have happened without your love and support. She was a beautiful, happy woman with a contagious smile. Our many Bates memories will always be with us but we never did get back to the North End. Linda never did let me forget that I crowned the Blessed Mother We had so many laughs over this revelation!
You will miss her terribly but her battle is over and she is at peace. Have faith that God is there to help.
With love, John and Joanne Anderson

Dearest John and children ....If only we could turn back the clock ~ Linda was the best friend I've ever had. She had a wonderful life with all the things you both shared. I loved the stories and pictures she told me about and showed me of those 4 adorable granddaughters. When Montana was a little girl and Linda having a pedicure/manicure together just a tiny example of "Linda." And, the time they went to I think The Ritz in a mink fur coat driving your truck was one of the best Linda's... What a gal. What a friend. She is beginning her Everlasting Life now in Heaven. G-d will comfort you all during this incredibly sad time ... Selah~
