Thomas Marchesiani Obituary

Thomas J. Marchesiani of Hingham passed away suddenly Jan. 27, 2012. Thomas loved to cook and travel but most of all he loved his family; they meant the world to him. He will be sadly missed. He attended Wentworth Institute and Northeastern University. He was also a member of the Sons of Italy in Hingham and was their treasurer. Devoted son of the late Joseph A. and Grace M. (Loring) Marchesiani, he was the loving husband of Annabella M. (Carter) Marchesiani; loving father of Shirley A. Mortland and her husband Lance of Hanover, Anna M. Corbett and her husband Glenn of West Bridgewater and Bernadette Kingston and her husband Mark of Norwell; brother of Peter J. of Norwell, Katherine Gabriel of Hanover, Paul of Stoneham and Mary E. Joubert of Hanover; cherished grandfather of seven grandchildren; and one great-grandchild. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours Thursday 9 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. in the Pyne Keohane Funeral Home, 21 Emerald St. (off Central St.), Hingham. Funeral service will be celebrated Thursday at 11 a.m. in Pyne Keohane Funeral Home, Hingham. Cremation to follow. I was deeply saddened to hear about Tom's passing. We shared a lot of laughs and delicious food a number of times. He was an excellent cook! I will always cherish the memories spent with him. His wife and family are in my thoughts and prayers.

I was so sorry to see Tom's name in the Ledger. May the Lord comfort his family at this difficult time. I worked with Tom many years ago. Please accept my sincere condolences.

So sorry to hear of Tom's passing. He was a great friend and fraternal brother to everyone at the Sons of Italy. He was always the first to lend a hand and he embraced his italian heritage. We will all miss his friendship very much. Our condolences to the entire family.

I am saddened to hear of Tom's passing. We were in the same class at Hingham High School. I just looked at our yearbook and saw the encouraqing note Tom had written. He was a jolly, good-nataured guy!
