Evelyn Macrogianis Obituary

Evelyn Macrogianis, 85, a lifelong resident of Stoughton, died unexpectedly at Good Samaritan Medical Center in Brockton, Monday, March 24, 2014. Daughter of the late Elias and Bessie (Magou) Macrogianis, she was born in Stoughton and graduated from Stoughton High School. Evelyn was a secretary for the Commonwealth of Massachusetts in Boston for 30 years before retiring at age 62. Evelyn is survived by her siblings, Nicholas Macrogianis, Marion Perry and Emanuel Macrogianis all of Stoughton. A graveside service was held at Evergreen Cemetery, 1100 Washington St., Stoughton, Thursday, March 27, at 9 a.m. Donations in Evelyns memory may be made to Paralyzed Veterans of America, 1600 Providence Hwy., Suite 143, Walpole, MA 02081.
