I didn't know you personally, John, but I've been blessed to see glimpses and reflections of the man that you were through your grandson Matt and your great grandchildren. A man's legacy may be sometimes measured in material possessions, but the greatest legacy that anyone can leave is a love for God and for our fellow man. Thank you for being the man you were and for playing the role you did in Matt's life, and by extension, his family, his friends, his church, and his community.

Father God, I thank you for the life of John Levreault, for the light he shone, and the legacy of love he leaves behind. We know that, because he was in Christ, he is now eternally in Your presence. Comfort his family through their time of grief and mourning, and may their hearts be strengthened as they trust in You, the Author and Giver of life. In Jesus' name, Amen.
