Dear 'Aunt' Polly and family, I was saddened to hear of 'Uncle' Bob's passing but rejoice with you that he is now with the Lord that he loved and served all his life. I remember fondly the time that I spent with your family during deputation with Debby, the love and kindness you showed me, the comfort that 'Grandma' Duncan gave when my own grandfather passed away when I was staying with you. Your faith and love for the Lord has been a shining example for many. May you feel the Lord's tender care during the next few weeks and months as you continue to minister to others with 'Uncle' Bob watching and interceding from heaven. Love, Margaret (Clelland) Darnall

Dear Polly, We were saddened to hear of Bob's illness and know his homecoming with the Lord must be bittersweet. Jim and Jeanie often share about you and when together we all remember picking crabs with you and Bob in Baltimore. From the other messages in the Guest Book, it is obvious you and Bob have had a great yet humble impact for the Kingdom of God. We know Jim and Jeanie have been blessed and ministered to by you both. How wonderful to be such a blessing. May you find comfort from the Lord knowing Bob has been a good and faithful servant to the Lord and a loving and wonderful husband and father. You are in our prayers. Love, Tim and Bobbi Smick

Dear Polly, Andy, Colin, and all,
I was so saddened to hear of Pastor Duncan's death. He and Fort Square meant so much to me. I would have been such a different person if I hadn't had his solid teaching and example to form my Christian life. You and your family were a rock in my life that I hadn't had before at a time when I really needed some stability. You and Bob taught me how to walk the walk and I will never, ever forget. God bless you all. - Julia (DeLuca) Blanchard

I had the good fortune to go to Fort Square with the MacPherson family from Braintree.Ma. Pastor Bob influenced my growth in Christianity as a child through his preaching and youth groups at church. Thank you and Polly for lighting the candle of faith that still guides me today. I rejoice in the knowledge you are home with our Father in Heaven. I realise how much your presence will be missed here. I also realize the joy that you are truly living on in the spirits of those of us left behind. Although we miss you today; we look forward to being with you in a
'tomorrow". I thank Jim, Doris, and Jane MacPherson for leading me to you. Your light shines brightly. GOD BLESS YOU.

Dear Polly, it was our special privilege to worship and serve alongside you and Bob for several years at Fort Square. Bob's preaching nourished our souls, and the love of Jesus that shone through him was contagious. We grieve with you and your family, but not as those who have no hope. Love, Kendall, Cindy, Chris and Jesse Lord

Over 34 years ago Pastor Duncan officiated at our wedding. He, Polly and his family have often come to our thoughts over the years. The warmth that was always apparent whenever one spent time with him, Polly or their family has never been forgotten. May Jesus hold you all in His arms at this time as He welcomes Bob to the Heavens he so often spoke about and loved. And may you each find support and peace in the love and gratitude of so many that have been blessed by having you touch their lives.

Dear Polly and family,
It was with great sadness that we heard of Bob's passing. When I told my girls that he had gone "home" to be with our Lord, Maria and Alyssa both cried. Then there were many memories of when you came down to Williamsburg and spent time with us. Many memories of Bob playing in the pool with the girls. May God continue to bless you and all of those who had the privilege to know him.

Polly (and family), I was so very sorry to learn of Bob's death. You both touched our lives with your genuine Christian love, concern, and example of strength during times of struggle. I was so hopeful you would have a long retirement in your new home, surrounded by family, but God's plans were apparently different from my wishes for you. I sincerely hope you will find peace in remembering Bob with joy and happiness, as we will remember his friendship. Love, Sue Getsch and family
