Joan Stetson Obituary

Joan (Wight) Stetson of Wellesley, passed away Wednesday, Dec. 8, 2010. Devoted wife of the late Jefferis Stetson. Loving mother of Ronald W. Lee of Virginia, Julie Lee Taves of Southborough, Jahna Lee of Colorado. Beloved stepmother of Peter Stetson of California, Mark Stetson of California and Todd Stetson of West Virginia. Dear sister of John Wight of Canada, Norma Vessot of Marblehead and the late Shirley Porter. Also survived by three grandchildren. Memorial service at St. Andrew Episcopal Church, 79 Denton Road, Wellesley, Thursday, Dec. 16, at 2 p.m. Relatives and friends kindly invited. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Joan may be made to St. Andrews Altar Guild, 79 Denton Road, Wellesley, MA 02482. The Duckett - J. S. My prayers and sympathy go to your family during this difficult time. I remember Joan from my days at Fraser's and her love of flowers and plants. I can remember creating the flowers for Julie's wedding and how special she wanted it to be for her. I am sorry for your loss of a very special woman.

My prayers to Joan's Family . I have become very fond of her over the last 2 years with our weekly hair visits . Will miss seeing her , as she helped me through the loss of my own Mother last year . Best wishes Suanne Tanguay .
