My only sister, I still miss you very much every day. You were my first Bible teacher and began in me a spiritual journey that is ongoing and vibrant. I love you, Sally, and will be so happy to meet you again in the earth made new. Phyllis

I read the obit in the Orlando Sentinel. I met Ms. Sally when she worked at Florida Hospital. She was a kind and loving nurse. I remember her especially since we share out last name - DAY and we are both Licensed Practical Nurses - LPN. I also noted that she has a cousin with the last name - RUSS - which was my maiden name. I just can't believe these coincidences. Wish I had known her better and had learned more about her. I am thankful that she knew the Lord and her heart was right. I will look for her in heaven! God be with the family.

Dear sweet sister: I will miss you greatly until my life on this earth ends. One of my very best memories is when you and Crosby moved to Griffin. We hadn't lived in the same town for 45 years, and it was so good to renew our friendship these past almost ten years. Always I'll cherish the memory of our Sabbath dinners together, the fun times we shared over a pizza at Pizza Hut, decorating the house for Christmas, all the holidays we shared with you, our long talks, and the comfort you gave me when things were not going just right in my life. I once gave you a plaque that said, "One sister is worth a thousand friends." That is true, and oh, how I miss my one and only sister. Love, Phyllis

Aunt Sally my dear. I loved you so much. I remember our times at your house watching TV or spending it outside sometimes. I remember the times you would come over on Saturday for dinner and we would talk about a number of things ( nothing was really off topic). I am thankful I got to know my Aunt and it was a blessing to have her for as long as we did. I will truly miss our times together when I would come over and we would watch TV and how we would spend lunch together. My heart is deeply saddened and I will be forever brokenhearted. Nothing can ease the pain or erase the feelings I have for my beloved Aunt. I will always remember the good times we had and that one day we all will see each other again. I love you Aunt Sally always have always will.

Rest in sweet peace Sally. I wish we could have met sooner. I know you are an angel in heaven now. Oh death, where is they sting? Jesus is victorious in your heavenly healing. I just fell in love with you, such a sweet, caring person. Your family as well. Peace to you all. Shalom~
