Daniel Barry Obituary

Daniel P. Barry, 45, of Framingham, former long time resident of Sudbury, died unexpectedly at his residence on Oct. 17th. Daniel was born in Marlboro, son of the late James and Estelle (Maskiewicz) Barry. He was raised in Sudbury where he attended local schools and resided there most of his life. He enjoyed spending time with his friends and loved to cook. He also enjoyed listening to music in his spare time. He is survived by his three brothers, Jack Barry and his wife Gloria of Maynard, Steven Barry of Framingham and Charlie Barry of Grafton. He was the brother of the late James Barry, Mary Barry and Katherine Barry. He is also survived by his son, Benjamin Gotz and several nieces and nephews. Family and friends may attend calling hours on Sunday, Nov. 2nd from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. at the Tighe-Hamilton Funeral Home, Inc. 50 Central Street, Hudson, MA 01749 (www.tighehamilton.com). A graveside service will be held privately in Glenwood Cemetery, Maynard at the convenience of the family.

Danny, you were the most honest person, by nature, I ever knew. You were, and always will be a best friend! We traveled from Lake Champlain to the Quabban Reservoir, always getting a laugh out of life!! I will miss you dearly!! Very dearly!! Goodbye for now, friend!!

to Jack, Steve and Charlie, My sympathy on the passing of Danny. I knew of Mary's passing but I'm now just learning of Jimmy and Kathy's passing - again my sympathy and condolences to all of you. Danny was always the little guy but I remember he was always smiling and whenever I ran into him he always had a hello -- It's been a long time since Pine Lakes -- Danny may you rest in peace.

I grew up with Danny in the Pine Lakes Neighborhood. My fondest memory of Danny was the day he got his mini dirt bike. The smile on his face was priceless. Danny had a very difficult life but that smile never faded. Rest in peace Danny, you will be remembered and missed. My deepest condolences to the family.
