Mildred Madden Obituary

Mildred A. Madden passed away peacefully on Friday, May 22nd, 2021, at The Reservoir Center for Health & Rehabilitation of Marlboro, MA after a period of declining health. She is reunited with her beloved husband of 65 years, Frederick W. Madden, who predeceased her on November 2, 2018. She was born in Concord, MA on June 17, 1929, the daughter of Uno and Emma (Wiik) Hill. She lived in Hudson for 66 years. She was a 1947 graduate of Maynard High School. Besides her husband, Fred, she leaves her son, Michael Madden of Hudson, MA, Cathy and her husband, Bill Granville of Marstons Mills, MA, Carole and her husband, David Ballard of Summerville, SC, Aline Madden of Clinton, MA and Ann Marie Chiasson and her husband, James of Summerville, SC as well as her grandchildren, Stuart, Leah, Alex and Samantha Granville, Christopher and Jon Ballard and Jillian Shaw and Margaret Chiasson. She also leaves behind her great grandchildren, Sydney and Joshua Ballard and Margaret and Grace Shaw as well as many nieces and nephews. She was the sister of her late brother, Owen Hill of Maynard, MA and her sister, Sylvia Ineson of Hudson, MA. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 9am on Monday, June 7, 2021 at Saint Michael Parish, 21 Manning St. Hudson, MA; followed by a procession to Saint Michael Cemetery in Hudson for Committal Services. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the Cancer Foundation.
