Linda Keith

Linda Hoyt Keith, 73, of Marshfield, and Naples, Fla., passed away suddenly but peacefully in her home on July 26, 2017. Linda grew up in Waltham with her two sisters, with whom she was extraordinarily close. She was married to Dr. Richard Keith for over 50 years, devoted to him until his passing in 2015. Linda was best known for her generosity, dry sense of humor, poise and etiquette. Always the welcoming and convivial hostess, she enjoyed hosting many gatherings at her home "Camp Newport" including celebrations for important milestones as well "secret parties" for Hoyt kin and her friends. Linda quietly donated her time, money and of herself to help others. She was the mother of Kimberli of Quincy and Richard Jr. and his wife Sandy of Marshfield; and "Meme" to her much-adored grandchildren, Jordan, Cameron and Alexis. She was a dear friend, aunt, sister, daughter, mother, great-aunt and in-law, and will be sorely missed by all. Friends and family are invited to join a gathering in her honor on August 26, 11 a.m. - 2 p.m., at Station Eight Restaurant, 1899 Ocean St., Marshfield. Tributes to Linda, a generous and compassionate soul, can be made by paying it forward in a kind deed.
