I read that Peter had passed away in a Brown Alumni Monthly several months ago. I was thinking about him today, as I occasionally do, when I recall my early years at Brown. He lived directly across the hall from me freshman year. He was a wonderful person then, and every at reunion for 45 years where I would always seek him out. I’ve told my wife about him a number of times over the years. Peter was one of the “nicest” people I ever met. Mark Rovzar

David,
So sorry for the loss of your brother, Peter. I understand the pain of losing a sibling as I lost my brother, Mark, in 1996. I hope the support of family and friends sustains you during this sad time.

My condolences to the Durfee family. I knew Peter as a good hearted and very intelligent person. I enjoyed talking with him about the old days of the hard ware store.
