John Long

John J. Long,of Waban, died on Dec. 20, 2013. He was the beloved husband of Kathleen H. (Lorden) Long and the late Helen G. (Griffith) Long. Devoted father of Kathleen Long and her husband Greg Hirsch, Mary Long, John Long, Jr. and his wife Beth, Dorothy Long, Peggy Nagel and her husband Carl, Barbara Kenslea and her husband Matthew, Helen Long, Gregory Long and the late Susan Long. Stepfather of James Horgan and his wife Mary Ann, Neil Horgan and his wife Kelli. Grandfather of Amy, Emily, Anna, Kelsey, Molly, Megan, Michael, Lizzie, Courtney, Owen, Grant, Aynsley. Brother of Sister Mary Regina Long and Anne Nevin and the late Mary Hemler, Regina Reymann, William and James Long. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Johns Funeral Mass was held in Sacred Heart Church, Newton Center on Monday Dec. 23rd. The interment followed with military funeral honors at St. Marys Cemetery, Needham.
