Donna Trowbridge Obituary

Donna Rae (Draves) Trowbridge, age 78, died on May 31, 2016 at the Brookdale Assisted Living in Plymouth. She was the devoted spouse of the late Sandra Shea of Plymouth. Born in Minneapolis, MN, on October 17, 1937, she was a daughter of the late Herman Emil Draves and Bernice Katherine (Vanoss) Draves. She was educated in MN and entered the US Air Force following her high school education. She had worked for most of her life as a machinist in Military Ordinance manufacturing rifles. She had previously lived in Carver and more recently resided in Plymouth for over 20 years. Donna's hobbies and special interests included Bible study and playing majong tile. She was also active in Pow Wow with the local Indian tribe. Donna was the beloved mother of the late Kevin F. Trowbridge of and step mother of Michael Shea, M.D. of Hawaii. She was the cherished sister of Francis J. Draves of Lousiana, William C. Draves of Arizona and the late Richard L. Draves and H. Joseph Draves of Minneapolis, MN. The funeral service will be held on Friday, June 10th, 2016 at the Christ Church Episcopal, 140 Court St., Plymouth, at 10:00 a.m. followed by interment in the Central Cemetery, Carver. Donations in Donna's memory may be made to the Cranberry Hospice, Inc., 36 Cordage Park Circle, Suite 326, Plymouth, MA 02360. Yes, that Indian chop suey was a hit with brother Richard too. "Call Donna and get the recipe", he told me. San was the light of Donna's life, both of them healing spirits. And there is never enough healing to go around. Missing you Donna!
