Karen Bobo Obituary

Karen Norma (Larosee) Bobo, 52, of Sandwich died Monday, April 19, 2010, at Radius Health Care Center in Plymouth after a lengthy illness. She was the wife of James E. Bobo. Born in Waltham, on April 10, 1958, daughter of Arthur J. and Norma (Martin) Larosee of Carver. She was a 1976 graduate of Plymouth High School. While in high school she was a member of the marching band playing the clarinet. She also played the accordion. During her working years she was employed by Jordan Hospital, worked as bus driver for the Plymouth/Brockton Bus Line and worked for the U.S. Postal Service. In her spare time she enjoyed hiking, camping, bingo and ceramics. In addition to her husband and parents she is survived by one brother Arthur; four sisters Tricia, Kathy, Lorraine and Mary Ellen and many nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held Friday April 23, 2010, from 4-8 p.m., at the Nickerson Bourne Funeral Home, 154 Route 6A, Sandwich. A funeral service will be held Saturday April 24, at 11 a.m., at the funeral home. Interment to follow at Sandwich Town Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations in Karen's name can be made to Guardian Hospice, 1214 Park St., Suite 203, Stoughton, MA 02072, or Multiple Sclerosis Society, Central New England Chapter, 101 A First Ave. Suite 6, Waltham, MA 02451 or Brain Injury Association of MA, 30 Lyman St. Suite 10, Westborough, MA 01581.
