Marc Salerno Obituary

It is with great sadness that the family of Marc Anthony Salerno, announce his passing on Friday, December 1, 2017 in Onset, Massachusetts. Marc was born on July 21, 1981 to parents, Mark Salerno and Kelly (Ashley) Longenecker both of Onset. Marc was an avid lover of his familys restaurant, Marc Anthonys La Pizzeria, and was proud to spend his days learning the family business alongside his dad and Uncle John. A passionate sports fan, Marc loved nothing more than spending time on the golf course, fishing, or throwing the football around with his son. Marc had a wonderful sense of humor, and had a special way of knowing when someone needed a smile. He loved his family above all else, and nothing made him more happy than to be around those he cared for. Marc is survived by his father, Mark A. Salerno and mother, Kelly S. (Ashley) Longenecker; step-parents, Carolee Salerno and Stephen Longenecker; sister, Ashleigh Salerno; brother Alexander Salerno; sister Valendina Salerno; son, Anthony Michael Salerno; paternal grandparents, Joseph and Beverly Salerno; late grandmother Judith Ashley, and many aunts, uncles, and cousins. Visiting hours will be from 4:00-8:00 pm Thursday, December 7th at Chapman, Cole & Gleason Funeral Home, 2599 Cranberry Hwy. (Rt. 28), Wareham. At the familys request funeral services and burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to St Patricks Catholic Church, 82 High Street, Wareham Massachusetts, 02571.
