Christopher Pearson Obituary

Christopher James Pearson, 39, of Scituate, passed away unexpectedly on August 18, 2021. Chris was born in Weymouth, on July 31, 1982, to Eric G. Jr. and Jean (Whipple) Pearson of Moultonborough, NH. Christopher was a resident of Scituate, where he graduated from Scituate High School in 2000. After graduating he found his passion for plumbing and became an accomplished plumber for VONCO Mechanical in Scituate under the tutelage of his mentor and best friend, the late Philip Von Iderstein. Chris was a talented and dedicated plumber which led to little time for the things he loved including snowboarding with his family, coaching his daughter's soccer team, swimming, lacrosse, "jamming out" to and attending 311 concerts with his daughters, and trips to St. John with his family. Chris had a heart of gold and was always willing to go out of his way and lend a helping hand to those who needed it, especially for his children. His children were the pride and joy of his life and were always reminded of this with "I love you with my whole heart." He was the proud and loving father of Madelynne Danielle Pearson, Hannah Ruth Pearson of Hull, and Christopher James Pearson Jr. of Marshfield. He is survived by his parents, Jean and Eric Pearson Jr.; sister, Elizabeth Jean Pearson; brother, Gregory Allen Pearson, sister-in-law, Julia Ann Pearson, and uncle of Evelyn Grace Pearson, all of Moultonborough, NH. He was the loved nephew of Judith Whipple of Somerville, Richard and Janet Walden of Scituate, David and Carla Marshall of Wilmot, NH, and Margit Pearson of Albuquerque, NM. He is also survived by Stephanie McKenna Powers of Hull, as well as many cousins and friends. Family and friends are invited to join together for a visitation on Friday Sept 3, 2021, from 4 pm - 8 pm at Richardson-Gaffey Funeral Home in Scituate. In lieu of flowers, a contribution in his memory may be made to Yankee Golden Retriever Rescue, Hull Boosters Club, or a charity of your choice. In remembrance of Christopher, please leave a loving memory in the guest book at www.richardsongaffeyfuneralhome.com. Richardson-Gaffey 781-545-0196
